 Founded
in 1996, the Albany Area Chapter of the Association of Certified Fraud
Examiners goal is to bring together investigators and others in the
tri-city area of Albany-Schenectady-Troy, New York. All of whom share
the common goals of the prevention, detection and investigation of white
collar crime.
Our objective is to promote improved fraud detection
and deterrence. This is achieved through expansion of knowledge and
inter-personal contacts, networking opportunities, and support for our
members and the business, academic and government community. Our
meetings feature speakers who are professional fraud investigators
and/or experts in fields related to white collar crime prevention and
detection.
