exam, let us congratulate you on this outstanding achievement. Did
you know that you can receive up to $300 in exam and/or prep course
expense reimbursements?
The Chapter Board of
Directors allocates
$1500 annually for CFE scholarships disbursed to Albany Area Chapter
members in amounts of up to $300 each, not to exceed the annual
allocation
To be considered for this
scholarship, you must be a member or affiliate of the Chapter for at
least one year immediately prior to the exam, your membership must be
current and you have to pass the CFE exam.
If you meet this criteria,
please submit a request for reimbursement, evidence of cost and all
reimbursements (business, government funding, etc.) to date, and
evidence of passing the exam to the Chapter President within 30 days of
receiving notification from the ACFE that you passed the exam. The
application deadline is June 30 of any given year. Any requests
received after June 30 will be considered for reimbursement the
following year.
A Chapter Director will
review and verify your application and present it to the Board at their
July meeting. at that time, the Directors will decide on the
recipient(s) and amount(s) of the award(s). The Chapter Treasurer
will send the expense reimbursement check(s) in July.
The Board reserves the right
to review this policy and make changes as needed.
